Celebrating National Surveyors Week (and a Night at the Ballpark)

Happy National Surveyors Week! Every spring, surveyors across the country take a moment to celebrate the profession. We celebrated too, with a little help from “I Just Want To Celebrate.”

April showed off the variety in our work. One day our job site adventures took a crew to the Poinsett Electronic Combat Range in Wedgefield. Another day brought a fun surprise in the office: as we put it, “Guy Fieri made it in today’s scan.”

We also made time to celebrate as a team. We held our first company night at the ballpark this year, cheering on a Columbia Fireflies win while chowing down on ballpark food. Nights like that remind us how lucky we are to work with such a good group of people.

Our community continued to give back to us, too. The Mid-Carolina Tennis Teams recognized Abraham Land Surveying as a sponsor and called us a “great group of guys.” We’re proud to support local students and teams.

Thank you to everyone who helps make this profession, and this company, what it is.
